\"\" Oshi-E workshop: Make a Picture with cloth remnants<\/strong> at TACtile<\/p>\n

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 21, 2013<\/p>\n

Oshi-E is a fabric craft developed about 300 years ago by the ladies in royal palaces in Japan. A raised picture of dolls, birds, flowers and popular stage actors, oshi-e are made using small scraps of kimono fabric and cotton batting. Instructor Kazuko Kozai will guide participants in making beautiful miniature kimono wall hangings. No sewing skills are required.<\/p>\n
