Ikebana International Denver Chapter (#66) received the “Thank You” certificate from the Consulate General of Japan at Denver, on May 11, 2012, at his official residence, for their service and continuing effor for the friendship between the United States of America and Japan through cultural activities.

Kazuko Kozai was asked by the Consulate General of Japan at Denver for providing a typical Japanese flower arrangement, with the themes of (1) Recovery from the earthquake damage and (2) Remembering the Tsunami Victims, for the annual year-end party held at the Ball Room of Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. Through the agreement by Ikebana International Denver Chapter (#66), which she blongs to, she has provided the following “Rikka Sunamono” arrangement.

Flower Arrangement & Furoshiki Presentation at Dragon Festival 7/30-31/2011

Kazuko was asked by the Japanese Association of Colorado to place a flower arrangement in their tent, and by Consulate General of Japan at Denver to present Furoshiki demonstration at the center stage, at Sloan Lake during the Dragon Boat Festival on July 30-31, 2011.
